KUOW Book Club Interview Airs

The KUOW Book Club will be airing my interview with Katie Campbell, host of the book club of this NPR station at the University of Washington. Katie is a self-described “bird nerd” with a special love for Florida Scrub Jays…and now Pigeon Guillemots. I’m delighted that she selected my book for the June book club read. Perfect timing as these marvelous “hidden-in-plain-sight” seabirds are coming to shore all along the Salish Sea to nest right now. I’ll post a link to the interview here on Monday, June 8th.

Book Launch Party April 15

Join me in the newly renovated Olympia Ballroom to celebrate the arrival of The Bird with Flaming Red Feet. Drop in/out any time. Guillemot-themed hors d’oeuvres and beverages starting at 5:30. Some words by me and Q&A at ~6:00. Book sales by Browsers Books and book signing (and more sips, snacks, and socializing) 6:30-8. There is on-street parking—free after 5. You should not miss this event!
