Join me upstairs at Browsers Bookshop Saturday noon-3 p.m. We’ll be celebrating the magic of Science + Art in my new book, The Bird with the Flaming Red Feet, a natural history about a wildly charming seabird, the Pigeon Guillemot. On display in the upstairs Browsers gallery will be the original art featured in my book, including Pacific Northwest artists working in watercolor, scratchboard, pen & ink, linocut, photography, and lithography. My book will be available for purchase and signing during the event. Join the crowds for the Procession of the Species 4:30-6—there will be more than a dozen Pigeon Guillemots in the parade.
